About the Founder
MAIBC, RAIC
Edwin is an architect with over 22 years of professional experience working on a variety of projects, and brings a wealth of knowledge in retail, residential, and hospitality design.
He started his career in Canada designing high end residential apartments and hotels, honing the balance between efficient planning, cost, and design impact.
During his time as a Director at Kohn Pedersen Fox, he worked on various project typologies spanning Hong Kong, China, and Southeast Asia. Projects that have won numerous awards include the Guangzhou Campus for Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hony Tower in Shenzhen, as well as Hang Lung’s Tianjin Riverside 66. Edwin have also worked with prestigious hotel operators including Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Hyatt Hotels, as well as Rosewood Hotels.
Edwin received his B.Sc. (Arch) at McGill University, and completed his Masters at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During his time at MIT, he was involved with various think tanks, whose goal was to integrate architecture with emerging technologies, as well as finding synergies between design and other disciplines.
In 2021, Edwin founded Kecerra to pursue his interest in developing unique destinations, regardless of scale. He is currently a member of the Architectural Institue of British Columbia, and Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
